Poinsettia with diseased stem. Woody stems may have a yellowed cortex and dark vascular tissues. The stem tip may curve with deformed terminal leaves.

Leaves with small, dark spots, an early stage of disease.

Leaf with yellowish brown lesions with some chlorosis.

Early symptoms are minute, pale green spots on young leaves. Later, small pustules form in the center of spots, best observed on underside of leaves. Spots vary in size and darken with age and lesions coalesce. Dead areas are torn away by wind.

Cabbage leaf with small lesions. Lesions may enlarge and coalesce, causing distortion. Stem lesions are black and sunken and may cause death of the plants.
